Underfloor heating is where the entire floor is gently heated to a relatively low temperature of around 26°C.
The warmth from the floor slowly rises up to heat the room and its occupants. We’ve all experienced the wonderful warmth of a floor when the sun shines through a window on to the floor.
With UFH the floor has to have heat induced in to it from a source such as a boiler. This heat is then released in a very even pattern across the whole of the floor. The room soon becomes warm to a very even temperature.
